As a designer, there are three main types of plan I produce for clients, concept plans, master plans and planting plans.
A concept plan is a visual document which I use to present ideas to the client, so will often include 'artistic' drawings, 3D pictures and thumbnail photos of elements which support these ideas, like materials, plants or structures. This document is about ideas rather than specific details at this stage.
The next stage is a master plan, which is amore detailed document which includes several pages of details like measurements, levels,
specific materials and recommended construction.
The next type of plan is a planting plan, which is a diagram which shows the location of new plants, chosen to suit your site and your personal requirements.
