This tiny pocket garden is a total sun trap but the uneven paving made it difficult to sit out and enjoy it. We relaid the paving with some additional setts and a millstone to make a sunburst pattern to make an attractive feature of this space. A small bench with storage gave practical space to keep additional seats and hand tools. We revised the planting to include some low-maintenance shrubs which provide year round interest and scent, and left some pockets for the client to add some personally chosen plants.

"Alison re-designed my bland bare postage stamp front garden a few years ago. She consulted me throughout the process & included many of my ideas. My garden now has year round areas of colour & it's a much enjoyed space."
